Inspired by our Vintage Mariner Collection of early 2023 - the Horizon Beanie is a DK weight cabled beanie available in 3x sizes suitable for kids to adults!

Sizes
1 - 37cm - to fit actual head circumference of 43 - 48cm
2 - 43cm - to fit actual head circumference of 50 - 55cm
3 - 49cm - to fit actual head circumference of 57 - 62cm

Gauge over 10cm
26 stitches x 36 rounds in cable pattern (approximately 1.5 pattern repeats) knit in round using 4mm (US6) needles - blocked

Yarn
DK weight yarn approx. 120 (154) 190m for double brim option

Pictured in size 3 with a double brim in Knitty Possum Tweed DK in the colour ‘Horizon’
DK weight 75% Superwash Extrafine Merino 15% Nylon Yarn 10% Nep
225m per 100gm hank - approx. 85g used

I recommend a true DK or light DK - a heavier weight DK may require an additional skein for the double brim in size 3

Care is taken to rinse all excess colour off the skeins, but bleeding may occur - particularly with dark or vibrant colours.

While most of our yarns are superwash treated, we advise washing your knitted/crocheted items by hand in lukewarm water with wool wash.
